Shamrock Fest Drive by Army of Me

Shamrockfest @ RFK Stadium today in Washington DC, please read:A couple nights ago, a big white apartment building in my neighborhoodin Mt. Pleasant in Washington DC burned down in a big way. Maybe youheard about it on the news. Luckily, it seems that everyone made it out alive, but over 500 people, families, and children were left without anywhere to live, and without any possesions, clothes, etc. I've walked by the building several times and it's totally charred and destroyed. I want to get the word out that we will be collecting clothes,toiletries, and check or cash donations to help the victims of the fire at the Shamrockfest @ RFK Stadium tomorrow. Collections willbegin at 5:00pm at the Army of Me Merchandise Table near the DC101Stage.

Please bring whatever you can (in bags) as far as clothing, in particular children's clothing is needed. Toiletries like toothpaste, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toilet paper, women products, and diapers, etc are needed. And you can make a monetarydonation - checks payable to Columbia heights Shaw Family SupportCollaborative (CHFSC), or cash. We (Army of Me) will take everythingand deliver it to the collection place in Mt. Pleasant. Please thinkabout what you can do to help these people in their time of need.
