Saturday, March 29th come fly a kite at the Smithsonian National Kite Festival- one of the largest kite festivals in the world! Sponsored by the Smithsonian Associates and the Air and Space Museum, Saturday's fleet of high flying spectacles will surely have everyone looking towards the sky. Part of the Cherry Blossom Festival, the National Kite Festival will be all over the National Mall, beginning at the Washington Monument on 15th st SW.
