Heroes walk amongst us everyday, but so often we are so rushed to give a proper "thank you" to those who make it possible for us to go home each night to the blessing of a hug from our friends and family.
Luke's Wings was founded to give soldiers at Walter Reed a way to see their family upon their return to US soil. These men and women have risked their lives for our freedom, yet many times once they are back in the states, they are unable to see their family as the expense is too great. Providing flights for family members to see their loved ones boosts soldier's moral, hopefully aiding a speedy recovery.
