When catastrophic natural disasters hit, like Hurricane Katrina, millions of people are displaced and have to begin anew. I commend the hosts of this Saturday's Katrina benefit for not forgetting the struggles that the survivors are overcoming with every new day. Their efforts have remained steady long after the disaster was plastered on the front pages of our newspapers.
